Lesson 22 Grammar Sentences (Original)
1. 如此- such; like that "如此" is often used in writing language to refer to the situation mentioned before. -我沒想到上高中如此的累. -我從來沒有吃過如此好吃的蛋糕. 2. 難怪-no wonder "難怪" is used either before or after the subject of a sentence to indicate that the speaker is not surprised by the situation after he/ she has found out the cause of it. -他昨晚都沒睡覺, 難怪今天沒勁神 -我一整天沒吃飯, 難怪肚子餓了. 3. 可惜- it's a pity; it is too bad "可惜"means "it is to be regretted" -朋友找我去打球, 可惜太多功課了, 沒時間去. -他天生就很聰明, 可惜沒用功讀書, 進不了好大學. 4. 若干- some; several "若干"is often used in written language to indicate an indefinite number. -若干年後, 整個城市都變了. -若干年後, 他們還是相當好的朋友. 5. 相當- quite "相當" is used before an adjective to indicate a certain degree, and is not as strong as ”很“ -他們全家人都長的相當高. -我們學校相當多的人都會說中文. 6. 將- will; be going to be -昨晚是一個我將永遠記得的一晚. -雨停時, 我們將會到外面練習. 7. 況且- besides; in addition "況且" is often in conjunction with "又“, "也“, "還“ to connect two sentences which are complementary to each other. -那麼晚了, 況且你又生病了, 就先去睡覺吧. -週末那麼忙, 況且有那麼多功課, 你因該好好用你的時間. |
