1. 明明 it is obvious that
“明明” is used after the subject to indicate that an action or situation is contrary to people’s beliefs or expectations
你明明知道你會遲到, 怎麼還托來拖去的.
我明明把書放在這的, 怎麼不見了呢?
2. 憑 depend on; lean on
你憑什麼說我偷了你的錢?
憑他說的話, 我們因該不用擔心了.
3. 寧可... 也 would rather; had better
“寧可... 也” is used to express a preference (which may not be a good choice, either) after comparing another option
我寧可一整天不吃東西也不會再試吃臭豆腐.
他寧可去坐牢也不會跟他爸爸說一句話.
4. 才 intensifier
“才” is used in exclamatory sentences for emphasis
他才是騙子!
我才不會相信你的!
5. 越... 越 the more..., the more...
“ 越... 越” connects two words or phrases and indicates the increasing degree of one state or process as the other increases
你一天比一天看起來越來越累.
他每天練習, 變的越來越好.
6. 不如 not as good as
“ 不如” is used in comparison sentences with the meaning “not as good as”. “ 不如” can also appear after the object of comparison, when using “連...都不如".
你在怎麼利害, 還是不如老師的工夫.
弟弟的數學還是不如妹妹.
7. “怎麼" and “為什麼" why; how come
“怎 麼” and '為什麼" can both be used to inquire about the reason for something, but ““怎麼” can also be used to ask about the manner of an action.
下雨天, 你怎麼去海灘玩?
他為什麼沒來上課?
